Love this girl

Claire loves to stand beside the shower while I'm in there and she gets soaked. She LOVES it. Here is a picture of the aftermath. She is soaked. But I mostly just love her little smile and those two little teeth!

Thanksgiving

Claire got to help on the farm this Thanksgiving. She met her friend the cow, who will most likely be dinner this spring!

Then she went into the chicken coop to help gather the eggs but she decided that she wanted to eat them...yes the chicken did just poop it out and yes, it did get into her mouth. Gross

Crowther Side

While we were in Sanford we were finally able to get pictures of the whole family....all 12. Crazy! We also got the four generation photos from Brice's side. In the middle is his mom's mom (Grams) with Grama C, Brice and Claire.
The bottom is Claire, Brice, Pa C and Papa Bob.
I am so glad Claire was able to meet almost all of her family on both sides!

A Side of Lime

Randomly Claire loves limes. She always has a side of them everywhere we go. The other night, Brice gave her a slice and got out the camera. As you can see by these progressive photo's she was thrilled, but the more she put it in her mouth, the more sour it got. I love these pictures

Bleeding Blue

Claire went to her first BYU Basketball game on Tuesday. Our friend Andy made her this adorable tutu and hair bow, so of course she had to wear it for the occasion. Brice is working with the team as sort of an internship so we went and visited him near the court. GO BYU!

This is what happens when I let Claire hold her own spoon. I obviously wont be doing that again anytime soon. Especially with green food. Enough said.

Happy Halloween

Super delayed I know and I am sorry. Claire was a little lamb for Halloween. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen and I made her wear it ALL day. Here we are as a happy family :D Brice and I are lame and didnt dress up...maybe next year!

Six Month Portraits

So we got Claire's six month pictures done and I tried to post them a while ago and it wouldn't let me. I just tried it again and it worked so yay for us. No more bouncer

When I shower, or need to get anything done, I usually just stick Claire in her bouncer. Well, the other day from the shower I hear a thud and then some screaming. I rush out only to find Claire on the floor...she's fine, dont worry, but now she has to be in her crib when I am in the shower so that she doesnt get hurt.

Big Girl, Big Bed

One of Claire's new favorite things is to be "made into the bed" I just lay her on the bed while I am making it and put the covers over her. She puts her hands and feet in the air to keep them off of her and just lies very still. I run around like a goof saying "Where's Claire, Claire where did you go?" She kicks her feet and throws her hands around and when I uncover her and say "There you are" she laughs. She loves it!

Lake Havasu!

We went on our first trip to Lake Havasu with Claire. Turns out she LOVES the water. We had a blast at the water park and a day on the boat Uncle Kyle and Baby Claire - she loves him. And I think he might kinda like her too

Claire Update

Sorry for the lack of blogging. I dont even know what my delay has been. Here is a general update on the babe! She is now almost 6 months old. She can sit on her own. She loves rice cereal as long as its mixed with applejuice. She doesnt like carrots but we make her eat them. She hasnt really tried anything else yet. She sleeps less and less in the day and more and more at night. We love her more and more everyday and cant believe how fast time goes. This is her sleeping in her swing...not too sure what she is doing with her arms but she looked cute.

Happy Birthday to Me!

I have been wanting an SLR camera FOREVER! On my 23rd birthday (Monday) I got one!!! My darling husband has been hiding money under our bed all summer and he and my parents surprised me with my dream come true. Now all I need is a photography class. Anyone have any good ideas? I want to be a good photo taker!

Happy Birthday to Brice

Brice's birthday was on September 2. He turned the big 2-5! I cant believe my husband is a quarter of a century old. My parents, his parents and Claire and I all went together and got him this gun. He has been wanting a pistol for a long time and he has worked so hard the past few years that I thought that he deserved it. His face when he opened it was the best thing I have ever seen. I cant wait to spend the next 75 birthdays with him!

Apartment for Rent

Hey everyone -
So my sister in law has been living in our basement all year but since her contract hasnt sold, she will be moving out this week and we will need some people to live in our basement. If anyone knows anyone looking for a place to live, please direct them to me or Brice. It is a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment suite with shared laundry. Just $600/month. No contract. We would prefer a student married couple or two single females. We appreciate all the help you can give us!

25 Things

I know I know - Cute pic huh?
Well thanks to my friend Lana, I have to post 25 things about myself and then tag 10 people. I dont have ten friends that would actually do it so I'll see what I think of at the end of my 25 things.

1. Currently, I feel like there is a mountain growing on my cheek. I thought zits werent supposed to happen post high school.
2. I am not a picky eater. There are very few things that I will not eat. One being bananas - it reminds me of the texture of vomit. The other is hard cheese. It MUST be melted. I know, Shannon and Shelley think I am 100% crazy for this.
3. I love to sing. Love it. I took lessons for almost 10 years and have done nothing with it. So, I sing to Claire, when it is just me and her. And I sing for real. Not goofing off like I do in front of my friends
4. I hate doing "outdoorsy" things. Camping, hiking, hunting. I like to wakeboard as long as there is no seaweed. I guess its not so much the activity, more the things that come with it. See #5
5. I HATE bugs. Hate them. It makes me cringe to even think about it. I have an image of myself at 15 with a spider in my room on my roof. I cant kill a spider (not because I like them - I am too afraid) so instead I was throwing feminie hygiene products at it in hopes it would fall off the roof and go out of my room. I ended up waking up my dad to kill it. It was 2am
6. I have recently taken up gardening and have actually really enjoyed it. There is something about knowing that you grew something from a seed. Brice and his parents did most of it, but I have watered and weeded everyday for the past month. And I am starting to harvest
7. I wish I had the money to travel.
8. I secretly wish that I could write. Not a story or a poem, but I wish I could convey my life on paper the way that I have seen others do, but I dont know where to start.
9. I miss my old job a lot. I dont regret not going back, but I really miss the people that I work with.
10. I like old lady things. I paint ceramics, quilt, garden and cook and I love it.
11. I cant stand clutter. My pet peeve is when Brice comes home and makes piles of stuff when he doesnt know where else to put it.
12. Im stealing this from Lana - but I love to exaggerate stories. Sometimes the story just doesnt sound as good when its not exaggerated. I dont flat out lie, but sometimes I add more detail than was originally there.
13. I HATE being called out on my exaggerations....Brice loves to do this when I am telling stories. He gets in trouble every time.
14. I love to do lists. Sometimes I will write something as simple as "make bed" just so I can cross it off. I feel such a sense of completion when I do this.
15. My mom is my best friend. I love my whole family to death, but my mom and I have a special bond.
16. I hope my daughter and I have that same bond (see #15) when she is old enough to have that relationship with me. I love her more than anything in the world
17. I hate wasting time. When I sit around doing nothing I feel like a waste of a person.
18. I love watching my daughter. I wish I could see the world from her perspective. It is pure innocence.
19. If I can avoid it, I will never shop at Babies R Us again.
20. I wish I could redo high school. 100% differently
21. It is one of my dreams to have someone nominate me for what not to wear so they can redo my wardrobe so I can be a "cute" mom.
22. I love Entertainment TV. The lives of celebrities facinate me.
23. I love to stay in on a Friday or Saturday night with a movie, ice cream, my daughter and my husband.
24. I love the rain. I wish it would rain more often in Utah. It is my favorite type of weather.
25. I wish I had more money so I could completely redecorate my house. I would hire my brothers to help me make it look beautiful. I get bored with the current style very easily!

BREAKING NEWS

Well - it's official. Claire slept through the night for the first time on Thursday night. I thought she was dead when I woke up and hadnt heard from her, but nope, just sleeping peacefully. She went to bed at 1030 and slept until 7. Wooooooo
I thought it might be a fluke, but nope, becuase last night she went to bed at 930 and we didnt heard from her until 715!!
Now that I have posted this, she will probably never do it again! It was a lovely 2 nights though!

I am dedicating these pictures to Riley since she was the one who requested an update. Love you Riley! This is Claires new favorite toy. She LOVES this thing for some reason and will stand in it for 45 minutes at a time if I let her.
