Busy

I am making excuses. I have been a horrible blogger. I feel like I blogged last week, but I looked at my last post date...October 17. That is pathetic. A ton has happened since then so I am going to try to get everything updated today. We will see how that goes.
First and foremost, we have some exciting news - for us anyway.
We are having another baby! June 2nd is the big day. For all of you wondering - we are not finding out what we are having regardless of how much peer pressure we face. You will all find out what we are having when we have him or her on (or hopefully before) June 2!
Look forward to a plethora of posts and pictures from that last few months.

Christmas!

It was the Crowther's turn for Christmas this year so we packed up and drove to Sanford. We got there Christmas Eve. First thing we did was open presents...and announce our pregnancy - finally. Seemed like it took forever to get here. Ill just put captions on all the pictures so you know what was going on :)
Ben and Kaley - Also announced they are expecting - due June 6. Four days after us. Neither of us had a clue about the other. Pretty funny.

Giant family picture - which will be even bigger next year!

Claire opening presents.

Her new "baby"

Her new bike - she needs to grow about 3 inches to reach the pedals..Summer will be perfect

Her new sled - we need it to get a little bit warmer so we can go outside and play in the snow

Nana got a new entertainment center for Christmas. Claire thought she was hilarious and climbed inside. She is a nut. We love her

Only in Sanford - we let her drive into Nana and Pa's house.

Took her to the dairy to see the cows. She was pretty scared of them - even the babies but she will like them one day - I just know it.

Claire and her Pa. So fun.

Baby cows.

Feeding the big cows. She would throw the feed at them instead of let them eat out of her hand.

Family pictures by the cows.

Every small town dad needs a picture of his kid in the tractor - so here it is!

From the back

All in all we had a fantastic Christmas

She never falls asleep anywhere but in her crib - she must have been wiped out!

Santa

I was worried about Santa this year. Claire loved pictures of him and loved to say Ho Ho Ho, but anytime we got close to him she kind of freaked out. I didnt want to stand in the crazy lines at the malls since they changed it so you cant take your own picture anymore and their cheapest picture is like $30 or something stupid. We went to the Riverwoods mall with some friends of ours. They have a really pretty light display, Santa and a carriage ride. The best part is its all free. It was a blast.
Not so sure about this guy - she kept looking at her dad to make sure it was ok

Telling Santa what she wants for Christmas

Kind of a smile...

18 Months

Here is a sampling of Claire's 18 month photos as promised. Sorry it took so long. She's almost 2 - no big deal. Sorry for the overload as well. I had almost 300 to choose from so just be grateful not all of them are posted. Thanks Pete Stott Photography. We love them!

Cold

There is something so much cuter about a little kid all bundled up as opposed to a huge frumpy pregnant lady all bundled so I had to post this picture just because. She calls mittens her minis and she hates when they are on when shes outside, but she loves to wear them for about 2 minutes. We made a snowman this day that melted before I got a good picture of it. We will make another one soon!

Halloween

Claire was Cinderella this year for Halloween. I thought with her blonde hair and blue eyes it would be appropriate even though my favorite princess is Belle. Do you think I could get her to smile nicely for this picture - not a chance. We didnt even take her trick or treating...I was about to and then a massive hail storm hit - so we took this year off. We went to the ward trunk or treat so I figured it would be ok since she wont remember not going. Maybe next year. All in all it was a great Halloween. She had a lot of fun.
