Cute pictures

I am totally stealing this post from Steph, but when I saw these pictures on her blog, I couldnt resist. I am lucky enough to have Steph watch Claire for me twice a week. I cant tell you how grateful I am for her willingness. Everytime we get in the car she asks "I go see James? and Teph? and Matt?" She LOVES it there.
Here and here are some pictures of their everyday activities!

Sledding!

This weekend we were going to get together with a couple of my old roommates and their families and go to Trafalga but we got about 11 inches of snow on Friday and Saturday combined, so we decided to go sledding instead. Sledding has always scared me I have heard of too many accidents. And to add to my concerns, when we pulled up to Rock Canyon Park there was an ambulance and a fire truck treating someone who had already crashed. I was already apprehensive about letting Claire go so I told Brice to just take her halfway up the hill. Well - I was at the bottom and started talking to my roommates and got caught up in the conversation and all of a sudden, I hear Claire screaming and Brice had let her go from the top! I was livid however, when Claire got to the bottom, she was laughing hysterically and said "AGAIN!!" so we let her go again and I got it on video. For some reason its in black and white and I cant figure out how to rotate it, but you get the idea.

This was from when she went down the first time!

Giving her friend Creed a hug

Look of innocence which means I am definitely not innocent.

The three kids following Kade while he made a giant snowball...

I couldnt get a good picture of this but the three kids sat on the sled while Brice pulled them around. They loved it but had a hard time staying upright. By the end, James and Claire were smashing Creed. They all loved it though. My friend Steph definitely got better pictures so to see those, click here.

The bump

25 1/2 weeks - way bigger than I was with Claire.  Oh well - as long as the baby is healthy.

Orlando

Nu Skin has Kick Off Meetings in LA and Orlando every year. Last year, I took Claire to LA with me and didnt go to Orlando. This year, I left Claire in Provo for LA and she came with me to Orlando. My mom met us there for some quality Grama-Claire time. They had a blast while I was working. We got to stay in Orlando for a few extra days after the meetings were over and we took Claire to Universal Studios and Disneyworld. From the looks of these pictures I dont think she liked it ;)
Bath time with Grama

Mickey stickers. This was just at Downtown Disney but I think Grama was prepping Claire for the real thing.

For some reason this picture makes me a little bit sad. Maybe because she is so independent and she is growing up way to fast.

I think it looks like Cinderella is protecting Claire in this picture and I love it!

Her first archeological dig. She was digging for dinosaur bones in this picture.

I think this could be an ad for ice cream she is so cute.

She wasnt a fan of the old man on the bench

Her favorite - Mickey and Minnie

The famous Hogwarts Castle. I didnt get to go on the new ride as the bun in the oven prevented me, but everyone else said it was cool. Personally I was overwhelmed by all the people and just wanted out of there as soon as we could leave.

We went on about 50 merry go round rides of different varieties. She LOVES them. This also made me sad since she could ride all by herself. She doesnt even need me anymore :(

Here they were. The REAL Mickey and Minnie and we had a melt down. They scared her to death in person. But NOW, if we look at the pictures she is thrilled that she is in the picture with them

Another Merry go round picture

After the famous Butter Beer in Harry Potter land at Universal

Claire and I with the traditional castle picture.

Claire and Grama driving the cars. I wasnt able to go on them due to the baby, but she had a good time

Projects

These are some long overdue pictures, but I am feeling the urge to quilt these days so I am going to post
This is a quilt I made when my friend Heather had her baby, Lily. It was a much harder quilt than I'd ever done before but I think it turned out well. I was very proud of it.
These are some fabric blocks I made for my cousin Crystal when she had her sweet baby Jadyn. I got the idea from my friend Bethany. I added the numbers and a few sound effects (bells, rattles, etc)

This is the matching quilt I made. I LOVE this quilt and am debating making one for me. It was pretty easy and definitely a lot of fun.
Now Im inspired. Maybe I'll take a gander to the fabric store....dont tell Brice :)
