Thanksgiving!

Well for Thanksgiving this year, we had the opportunity to go to Mexico with my family. After a midnight flight to Puerto Vallarta, we spent the entire week on the beach or by the pool. It was fantastic. Just the break we needed.
The view from our room

The sunset on the last day

The ziplines were at the same location where they filmed the movie Predator with our good friend Arnold who is now the governor of California

Just a funny name for a bar that we saw!
This is the swimming hole near the ziplines that my brothers played in after they came down the mountain.

Kyle on the zipline

One of the things to do in Mexico is ride the ziplines up and down the mountain. I couldnt go because of the baby but the rest of the family got to enjoy. I sat in the restaurant and enjoyed the sunshine and the beauty while they zipped above my head. It looked like they had a blast and I was glad that they were able to enjoy that!

Parrots! IF you stopped paying attention to them they would squawk like crazy until someone else came along.

This is my sad sunglass tan. I fell asleep by the pool with my glasses on and woke up with this beautiful line. Luckily it was at the beginning of the week so I still had time to retan over it :)

These are the swans that were in our room every day. They were really cool
One thing Brice really wanted to do while we were in Mexico was go to a real barber and get shaved with a straight blade. It was pretty cool. He got a haircut and a shave for $8.00 which is unheard of. It was kind of scary because about every minute or so, the barber would take a break and swig half a beer then go back to Brice's neck with a razor sharp blade. But, Brice got his barber visit and made some new friends with the people in there. It was a really cool experience
The whole family in front of the weird alien chairs.
This is a picture of some weird statue that was on the beach so we just decided to take a break from the market place and take some pictures :)
Sandcastles in Mexico were amazing
Me and my brothers
These are the nasty crabs that were swimming near the rocks. I am already terrified of the ocean as it is, so when I saw these it made it even harder for me to get in the water.

A few more cakes!

\As every Brice and Fallon blog follower knows, I took a couple of cake classes. Here are some pictures of the recent cakes I made.

This cake was my favorite, and also the saddest cake story you will ever hear. On my way out of class, I rolled my ankle (I blame the pregnancy) and the cake - in slow motion - flew out of my hands, did a couple flips and landed upside down on the pavement. Luckily I took a picture before hand, but I will be honest with you, I cried the whole way home and then again when I got home....once again, I blame the pregnancy :)
Here is my turkey cupcakes. I didnt make these for class. I saw a picture in a magazine and tried to copy it. Theirs looked a lot better than mine but it was fun to try! The whole flock is below!

This was my first fondant cake. Super simple, but it was cool to learn how to do it!

20 Weeks

Here is my picture at 20 weeks as promised. I think one day I will start showing so it is a little more obvious. I am feeling much better though so that has been fun. We had our ultra sound on November 19. We didnt find out what we are having though so I am pretty proud of that! It has been a lot more pleasant for the past month or so though so I am VERY happy about that! I cant believe we are already half way. How scary is that? Hopefully I can learn how to be a good mother!

Family

Probably no one cares that much (except our families) but here are some picture from both sides from when we took our annual pictures

Halloween

Ok - I know it was a long time ago but here is a picture of our Halloween costumes. I know - scrubs are a boring cop out but it was all that was comfy to me at the time. We went to one of our friends surprise birthday parties and then to Chili's for dinner. Super exciting! It was fun though to just relax!

A New Addition

Probably the biggest change that we have had in the last few months is the news of a new addition to the Crowther Household. That's right....I'm pregnant!

With the news of my pregnancy, we are expecting a new little Crowther on April 5. So far, I have lost 10 pounds with all of the sickness. Yay :S

I am so excited for April to come, but at the same time I am more terrified than I can even express. The thought of a little child being 100% dependent on me scares me, but I am so excited to start our own little family.

Our families are both very excited. My dad thinks its a girl and my sister in law Riley thinks its a boy. I should probably mention that we are not going to find out what we are having until the little baby is ready to come in to this world. If you would like to make a bet, feel free to make a comment on this post. There might be a small prize...there is nothing greater than the satisfaction of being right :)

Here is a picture of me at 10 weeks - I will post every 10 weeks I guess.
Right now I am at 14!

Good Bye Old Condo!

We said good bye to our first home as a couple last month. It was bitter sweet. We have moved into a much nicer home that has a basement that we can rent out. So that is super exciting! I thought I would be more sad to leave, butI didn't even cry. We just got everything all moved out and said good bye.
Here are a few memories from our first home:
* Moving in to the dirtiest place I've ever been in my life.
* Renovating an 1100 square foot condo with Brice's parents, Ben and Kaley, my parents, Kyle and Brice and I. It was so crowded!
* 24 Parties with the loser presidents!
* Our white elephant party before we were married, then again the next year. I can't wait for this years to see what crazy gift Cameron comes up with.
* Sleeping the cement floor the night before they put in our carpet.
* OUR NEW CARPET!
* Barbeques!
We really enjoyed our old home, but are very excited to start our lives in this new home!

Cake Class

I took a cake decorating class this summer. It was funny. I am no artist by any mean, but I had a blast learning how to make flowers and do some different piping techniques. I am embarrassed to post these photos, but I am also kind of proud of my skills :) This one was mostly just me goofing off with the different colors of icing!
This one was my favorite! Who doesn't love grapes!
Here is my clown. So cute!
Final class. We did roses this day, but I love polka dots so I had to add them in.

Home to Sanford!

We got to go home to Sanford for the 24th of July this year. It was a lot of fun. I had to miss my family reunion on my side for it, but we got to go to that last year. Sanford was a blast though and I am so glad that we went. I had a great time with Brice's family and friends and being a part of something that they have celebrated their whole lives!

This was Manassa's annual 24th of July Celebration. Kaley's mother in law enters her float every year. This year she had the three little girls sitting on it as part of the Toy Story theme. It was soo cute. She won 1st place in her category!!

After the parade, we all went the the races. This is Melody's husband Tyler. I've never done this kind of stuff before so I was thoroughly intrigued by the entire Celebration. It was a blast.

This is the nasty caterpillar that Johnny found. It was gross. He decided it would be hilarious to throw it at some girls who were sitting in front of it. I'm not going to lie, it was kind of funny to see how fast those girls moved from where they were sitting, but if he had thrown it at me, I don't think he would still be alive today!

One night, Brice decided that he would shoot a bird that was sitting on the fencepost so innocently. He actually hit it. I was so mad. It wasnt pestering anyone or anything, he just wanted to prove a point. Anyway, I decided that I wanted to shoot the gun to but not at a bird. So after only two tries, I hit this can. I am awful at shooting so I thought "surely this has to be a fluke" so I tried again. Nope, it wasnt a fluke. I hit it AGAIN!! I'm pretty much a professional now. If anyone wants lessons, I am more than willing to take payment for it.

This was the most fun that I have had in Sanford. It was fantastic. The weather was beautiful, and the best part was, the wind wasnt blowing!

This Post is for Andy

Well - Brice and I have been getting some mean text messages from our friends Ryan and Andy (mostly Andy) about not updating our blog, so I split it into several different blog posts just for her.
A lot has changed in our life since May 26....

Memories

Here's the rules...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. We all have some sort of memory.. SO DO IT :)

"FUN" Camping Adventures

This past weekend, Brice convinced me to go camping up in Mapleton Canyon. I was all excited about it since we got a new tent last summer and hadnt used it yet. It was a lot of fun at first. We made delicious tinfoil dinners with beef, potatoes, onions and green peppers. They were soooo good. Then we made s'mores over the campfire.

Then the sun went down. I forgot that the mountains dont have plumbing and electricity so pitch black bathroom breaks were quite the adventure. Then it was bedtime. Everything was going well until it started pouring rain. Luckily our tent is about 2 feet off the ground when it is all set up so we stayed dry. I listened to the rain for about 4 hours before I finally woke Brice up and made him figure out what time it was. Luckily it was already 5...2 more hours til the sun came up. Just as our tent got light, I fell asleep for a couple hours....I cant wait until next time :)

Boycotted Blogger

So - I am completely against blogging. I always have been. Who wants to hear about me and Brice every day. In fact, I am usually the one making fun of the "newlyweds" posting their love for one another publicly. LAME! But, now more and more of my friends are getting them and my friend Whitney finally taught me how - so now I am posting my first blog. How exciting. I hope you enjoy - and the suspense of reading my next blog keeps you on the edge of your seat with anticipation.
